Issue four is winding down and will be out soon. It’s been madness for the past month…but today, the sun was out and I skipped out of the office— I just got a new surfboard that I was itching to try. Spring can be iffy for surf in the Pacific Northwest– but the report looked good enough, the wind tolerable, and high pressure reigned. Too bad in reality the waves weren’t so great. So if I go, and it’s not up to snuff I’ll at least get a hike out of the deal. This forest is on the edge of a beach where I surf sometimes. You can walk for miles in it. I love where we live.
