Green lights up Helsinki skies

nuage-vert.jpg

No, it’s not the northern lights. This cool light show happens to be called Nuage Vert and will take place in Helsinki, Finland from February 22-29. A green laser light will be used to illuminate the vapor emissions of the Salmisaari power plant in order to show the current electricity consumption of local Helsinki residents. If that’s not a good visual to show how man affects the environment, I don’t know what is.
