It’s easy to be on a China kick with the Olympics going on. This video produced by VBS.tv takes a look at the Chinese city of Linfen which happens to be on the Top 20 Global List of polluted cities. Done in five parts, the Toxic Linfen series analyzes the country’s dependency on coal and the consequences of water and air pollution on Chinese individuals.

Part 1, 2 and 3 of the series are currently up on the VBS website and 4 and 5 will go up later next week. If you’re feeling up to stomaching some disturbing environmental images, you should also check out their Garbage Island videos on the Pacific Gyre.
