This week’s Friday Photo was taken during sunset at Squaw & Papoose Rock in the Dark Canyon Wilderness Area in southeastern Utah. The area has a total of 47,116 acres and is protected by the Forest Service. Located near the town of Blanding, the area was once home to a small segment of the widespread Anasazi Indians… with sunsets like this it’s easy to imagine enjoying living there.
