It’s time for yet another Friday Photo contest and this time we’re going with the theme of alternative transportation! In conjunction with our travel writing contest over on iWend, all of January’s photos will be of some kind of alternative way to get around. At the end of the month we’ll pick our favorite and the winner will score a very sweet prize: a Zero messenger bag by San-Francisco based Rickshaw Bagworks!
What do we mean by alternative transportation? Bicycles, rickshaws, elephants, sleds, skis, canoes… anything that doesn’t require fossil fuels.
Submitting is easy. Just post your photo to our Flickr group and then send an email to fphoto[at]wendmag[dot]com with a description of where it was taken. The first photo will go up this Friday, the 2nd, so get those shots in!
