Another great alternative transportation photo coming at you, this time from Cordillera Huayhuash in Central Peru. The photo comes to us from Deia Schlosberg. It’s no surprise if you recognize her name; she and Gregg Treinish were the first two people to walk the entire length of the Andes, and documented their travels in two stories featured in Wend. Deia says this about her photo, “Hiking through the Andes, we often encountered gouchos who would ride along with us asking questions about what we were doing. These guys ended up liking our story and sharing their rum.”
