Big Wheel: World’s Biggest Skateboard Actually Works
Behold! The biggest skateboard in the world!!!
Nearly a decade after its creation in 1996, San Diego-based Foundation Skateboards’ gigantic skateboard was recognized by Guinness World Records as the biggest in the world.
Reaching ten feet in length and standing three feet off the ground, the record holder is fully operational. The four foot wide double-kick deck has fully functional trucks, car tires and, although it takes four or five people to operate it, turns and will rebound to straight by shifting weight – just like a regular skateboard.
The gigantic skateboard, which makes appearances at events around the United States and Canada, has been featured in the 2006 Guinness Book of World Records and on the TV show, Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
