What is your dream project to maintain a healthier coastline? Coastal CODE wants to know.
What is Coastal CODE? It’s an effort of Alaska Brewing Co., 1% of all proceeds from Alaskan IPA are used to promote the health of the Pacific Ocean. Basically beer going to a very good cause.
Coastal CODE is currently looking for a group of “CODE Keepers” who will travel to Alaska for a weeklong journey of true Alaskan adventures such as surfing in Yakutat and sustainable fishing while learning about the global impact of marine debris and helping preserve the remote shores of Alaska. Along the way, you’ll learn how to really make a difference for your own local coastline.
Entering is easy. All you have to do is answer this question in 140 characters or less: “What is your dream project to maintain a healthier coastline?” Enter either by sending Coastal CODE a direct message on Twitter or post your answer on their Facebook page. Entry deadline is July 1st, at which point a group of finalists will be chosen and asked to submit formal applications explaining your idea and your shared commitment to the health and sustainability of the Pacific Ocean and its coastline.
