bottled water tappening

Tappening — the anti-bottled water project that works to campaign for tap water — recently launched a new marketing campaign aimed at educating consumers about the “truth in advertising.” The Start a Lie Campaign is all about creating and spreading false information about bottled water to shed light on an industry that often doesn’t even share the sources of its H2O.

At the Start a Lie website, anyone can contribute their own lie about bottled water, in 115 words or less (this is the Twitter generation after all!). The tag line for the campaign? “If bottled water companies can lie, we can too.”
