Friday Photo: Cycling Monk

Being in one of America’s cycling capitals, we have an affinity for bikes, so we decided to go with a cycling theme for the August Friday Photo contest. Bikes are used around the world, both for fun and for transportation, which is why we love today’s winning shot, taken by William Mikesell. It was while backpacking in Southeast Asia that William came across this cycling monk, pedaling near the crossing to China at the border town of Boten, Laos. We love getting a look at bikes used around the world!
