In case you had missed out, Bollywood is hot right now, especially with this year’s Slumdog Millionaire extravaganza. Indian music is hitting the international scene big time, and no group is pushing the rythmic limits quite like Midival Punditz. The electronic duo launched in 2007 and since then, they have become some of India’s most sought after remixers, laying down the tracks for some of Bollywood’s biggest soundtracks.
But their music also has an international feel, bringing their electro beats and Indian rhythms to crowds around the world. This video, “Ali,” is from one of their earlier releases. Check out the review of their current album, Hello Hello, in the latest issue of Wend!
