When you grow up the son of a skate shop owner who is an ex-Schmitt Stix team rider, you’re bound to be ahead of the learning curve. Innovation is all over the place in skating these days (blindside ollie to switch 50/50 rail slide anyone? Six foot out, Ollie North? Check 1:51). But reinventing old school tricks and incorporating them into your lines makes us old guys drool, as it’s akin to watching a visual history of skateboarding. Taylor is just 17, and killing it.
