Each week we are going to feature work by a new photographer who works in the outdoor world.

Our readers love to check out slideshows of excellent photographs that are aligned with the Wend mission. We’d like to to give them more of what they want while at the same time helping outdoor photographers market their work.

Interested? Here’s the skinny:

Send an email to edit@wendmag.com with the subject line “Sunday Slideshow.” Attach a few images. Tell us a bit about yourself and give us a link to your website. Then, if your work meshes with our editorial/aesthetic vision, we’ll contact you and schedule a slideshow. We’ll introduce you and your gig in our post, link to your site, and show your work.

Think of the Sunday Slideshow as an internet-based art gallery show, with A LOT of people walking through the virtual door. And we’d like all galleries to be watermarked to ensure your work stays safe on the interweb. And don’t worry – we’re not looking for any rights, and we won’t use your photos for anything we do in-house. Basically, we get contacted by a lot of photographers who have really great work, but we only have room for five or so a year in our print mag. So, if you’re a photographer, looking to advance or promote your talent, submit!
