From Photographer Eric Boomer:

Two of my passions in life are adventure and photography. My pursuit of these passions has taken me around the world and introduced me to many amazing people. It is my hope that these images awake and inspire a sense of adventure and exploration in each of you. I am currently back home in the Columbia Gorge working as a freelance photographer, planning future adventures.

About this Expedition:

September 13, 2009 John Grace, Jason Hale, Jay Moffatt, Matt Wilson, Mike McKee, Fred Coriell, Henry Munter and myself put in on Canadas Stikine River.
“The Grand Canyon of the Stikine River in northern British Columbia is one of the greatest whitewater runs in the world. Hidden away in the Canadian wilderness, it has everything an expedition kayaker could ever want. While it is impossible to say that something is the hardest, over the last 30 years and a total of 28 attempts, the Stikine has proved itself to be one of the most challenging runs anybody has ever found on this planet.” Doug Ammons exerpt “A brief history of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine River.”
