The great thing about trekking into the great outdoors and spending a weekend in your tent is that you get away from people and instead spend some nice time appreciating the beauty of natural solitude. Sure, a camping adventure with a few friends is always fun, but you never want the party to get too overloaded. Which is why I am a little hesitant about this new tent design called “Abri Socio.”
The goal is to make people more sociable outdoors by having a bunch of two-man tents connected together by storage containers for beer and snacks — ultimately creating a big circle in which you can sing Kumbaya to your heart’s content. Any takers?
