The countdown to October 24th has begun, and here in Portland we’re spending lots of time planning and getting the word out about all that’s happening here locally on the International Day of Climate Action. Some of us will be biking, some of us will be making a huge 350 on the Willamette River out of kayaks, and some of us will be rallying.

Don’t know what you’re doing yet? Click here to check out 350.org’s helpful interactive map that will aide you in finding an action close to your home. There’s no excuse for not taking part in the global climate change movement!

We want to find out what you’re doing on October 24th — if there’s a super cool event in your community, post it in the comments below. In the next two weeks leading up to October 24th we’ll be featuring actions around the world in the hopes to inspire people to get involved.

One Response to “What 350.org Action Are You Going to Take Part in on October 24th?”

Small efforts often lead to more efforts and sometimes greater efforts. And pretty soon, each of us is a part of the solution in our own way. And best of all, most of the time it’s fun.

In the course of planning this climate action I have experienced the power of taking action – like a pebble falling in water, the ripples never stop reaching out.
