Beer and climbing… climbing and beer. For a lot of climbers, the two go hand-in-hand. So, in a show of love, I wanted to shoot a photo that incorporates both in a way that hadn’t been done before. I was living in Eugene at the time, and from the local crag you could see the turquoise grain silo at Ninkasi Brewery. I had my sights set. With the help of my buddy Matt Frick, AKA “Darth Aider,” and the generous support of Ninkasi, it all fell into place.
