This, the final race in the much ballyhooed Cross Crusade series, took place near Estacada, Oregon at Barton Park. Once again the weather gods smiled on our little cross races by providing rain all week, for ample supply of mud, then letting up with sun breaks for race day. Perfect racing conditions. The absence of the twin towers Wicks and Trebon, let the REAL race go down between Babcock, Cameron and Tonkin. Did I mention the Shimano arm-wrestling championships? Oh yes… see for yourself.
