WIPEOUT WEDNESDAY: Aerial Ski Jumping Disasters.
posted November 25th, 2009 by Stiv Wilson
When I was a young lad growing up in the promised land, I skied almost ever day during the winter season. Growing up in Minnesota meant skiing in below-zero temperatures on hills with 200-300 foot vertical drops. Ski life was all about getting big air. Bomb the hill, hit the jump, rinse and repeat. I was on an aerial team and the same thing that happens in the first video actually happened to me (but I caught way less air).
Got some good wipeout footage? Send it along to letters@wendmag.com
From Phaedra: (Hey Bode, getting drunk and screwing with my bindings ain’t cool)

From Mick: (Perfect execution of over rotation)

From Samuel: (you can’t turn on slippery plywood)
