Verde PR and Base Camp Communications Join Forces

Starting December 1st, 2009 two of the major players in Outdoor PR will join forces to become one of the largest voices representing the outdoor industry with regards to public relations. At Wend, we’re stoked, as both of these firms have been great to work with, and Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, CEO of the newly formed joint venture is one of the greats in the industry with regard to understanding and embracing Web 2.0, social marketing and digital based communications. We wish you a bright future. It looks like it’s been a long time coming as both Carpenter-Ogden and Base Camp founder and director Mike Geraci have been friends an collaborators for over a decade.
