Fugawi introduced its new topographical map application for the Apple iPhone this morning. The Fugawi iMap allows users to download raster topographic maps of U.S. and Canada and saves them in caches, so they can be accessed when you’re out in the middle of nowhere. It will show your real-time location in latitude and longitude, or Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) and even details like bridges, bodies of water, railways, etc. It sounds like a pretty sweet deal for $4.99, and that will include an account with X-Traverse, so you can transfer your waypoints.
