Earlier this week, Transworld Skateboarding posted the above video of four Portland, Ore. skateboarders involved in what looks like a street fight with security guards. This video, which shows a guard striking a skater in the face with board at Pioneer Courthouse in downtown, has initiated an investigation by Portland city officials.
Apparently one security guard suffered minor injuries and witnesses say one of the skateboarders struck first. Regardless of who started the fight, the officers are under scrutiny for not approaching the situation appropriately and using unnecessary brutality.
Investigations have just begun and no information has yet been released.
