The skin on your hands is every bit as beautiful and important as the skin on your cute little bum, so why not treat it with the same level of respect? Well now, thanks to Handerpants, you can.
The visionaries behind Handerpants have harnessed tighty whitie technology to create a fingerless glove that is both fashionable and useful.
According to the company’s website, Handerpants are specially designed to protect your hands from chafing during such strenuous activities as cooking, texting, night blogging, and the inexplicable ‘girlie stuff’.
But you don’t have to go out and buy a pair of Handerpants to fit in at the holiday parties this year. You can just make your own. Here are a few simple steps that will help you to turn your ratty old undies into a pair of handsome Christmas fundies:
1. Choose an old pair of underwear –preferably the one without those dark stains from your trip to Mexico– and cut it in half, right down the middle.
2. Using a permanent marker, draw five small circles on each half
3. Cut the circles out using a pair of sharp scissors
4. Stick your fingers through the holes.
5. Now simply wrap a few rubber bands around your wrists (ribbons would work well for this too) and go give everyone you know a big holiday high-five.
