Award-winning National Geographic Young Explorer, Global iWend Ambassador and kayaker extraordinaire Andy Maser traveled to South America with his Epicocity Project partners to run some rapids and learn more about what’s happening to Bolivia’s tropical glaciers.
In addition to writing a killer feature story about his trip for the newest issue of Wend (which you can read for free online here) Andy also returned with a short film documenting the team’s findings.
The Epicocity Project is an outdoor media company focused on whitewater kayaking and protecting the natural world. The crew also started Rivers in Demand, a project that takes them on exploratory kayaking trips through biodiversity hotspots.
