There are three dogs that spend their days with us here at Wend HQ, and each of them has a special way of reminding us of its presence. Porkchop, the eldest of the bunch, is a stubborn old land shark who likes to whimper his way into staff members’ lunch sacks. Lobo, our lovably insecure rescue case, has a good heart but enjoys barking at the UPS guy and any other bearded or beanied males who make their way into Wend HQ. And finally there is Diego, the crafty puppy who splits his time between chewing speaker wire and instigating foot races with his compatriots, races that span the entire slippery distance of the cement office floor.
Whether they are barking or racing or whimpering or just coming by for a few pats on the head, it is impossible to ignore these animals during the work day. They are our office mates. Our colleagues. Our friends. They add an element of unpredictability and chuckle-inducing chaos to the atmosphere, and having them around helps ease the stress of our busy days.
So grab one of those undersized blue baggies and your leash, because this week we are taking you on a visual journey of Dogs, ‘Round the World.
If you like our ‘Round the World series, you might enjoy some of the previous themes: Jesus, swimming, sweaters, mustaches, stairs, chess, foods, silhouettes, outhouses, cemeteries and donkeys.
