This week’s Friday Photo winner is Jon Wick, for this awesome shot of his dog, Denali, running happily in the mountains of Butte, Montana.
Here’s what Jon had to say about the event:
“My fiance and I were cross-country skiing in the mountains behind Butte, Montana. We came out to a clearing, and right on queue the skies opened for our midday lunch. Denali, apparently rejuvenated by the sunshine, couldn’t get enough of the trail, and was running hot laps around our makeshift picnic area. About the third lap I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures of her in her element. The sun, snow, and tongue just all lined up to make the shot. I only wish I had that much energy after all those miles!”
