Mohawks ‘Round the World

Australia

Every one of us shares a common dream at one point or another in our life: to rock a mohawk. For some, the dream never comes true, as one’s adolescence passes by to meet the demands of adulthood, which is no arena for novelty hairdos. But in others, the fire burns deep and the follicles in the center of their noggin stand tall — sometimes colorful — and always proud. For anyone who’s suppressed the dream, standing in the presence of a mohawk is akin to religious enlightenment, forever holding the mohawked figure as a golden God.

So shave off any unnecessary hair and stick a fork in an outlet because this week we’re taking you on a visual journey of Mohawks ‘Round the World.

Thanks for using my mohawk picture, although as it was taken in Belfast, it’s technically in the United Kingdom, not Ireland.
