Here’s what Jon had to say about the event:
“Last week’s big snowstorm missed the NYC metro area, so on Sunday a group of friends and I headed a couple of hours South to Island Beach State Park on the Jersey Shore to go snowshoeing.
It ended up being a great day of hiking, exploring, and playing in the snow. The beach and dunes were transformed into an almost surreal landscape with white waves of deep drifted snow (often mixed with sand) offset by an ultra blue sky.“
