This weekend, a new world record was set. On Saturday, Franck Cammas and his 9-man-crew finished their around-the-world-sail in just 48 days, 7 hours, 44 minutes and 55 seconds–the fastest time ever. Cammas’ group broke the 2005 record by over two days, and in doing so, happily accepted the Jules Verne Trophy for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe by yacht.
