A friend and I moseyed on out to the Trapper Creek Wilderness over the weekend for some much needed R&R. Saturday was gorgeous, perfect hiking weather and while watching the moon rise above us during dinner, we decided to forego the rain fly on the tent.
Halfway through the night, heavy raindrops kissing me on the cheek forced me out of my warm sleeping bag and into the rain to put on the fly… while my buddy kept sleeping. I spent the rest of the night dreaming of warm java next to the beautiful creek whispering in the distance.
