Climber Conrad Anker is on a mission to figure out at least some of the mystery behind George Mallory’s strange disappearance on Mount Everest. (Mallory, as we all know, was also on a mission, in 1924, to be the first to summit Everest — but to this day, no one is quite sure whether or not he was actually able to do it.) Anker’s life intertwined with Mallory’s when he accidentally stumbled upon Mallory’s frozen body — along with all of his belongings. Ultimately, that discovery led to the soon-to-be-released film The Wildest Dream, during which Conrad seeks out the story behind Mallory’s (possible) ascent. What will Conrad find out?
