Hello, August. We’ve met before. You’re hot. And we like it. You’re so hot that sometimes we have to cool ourselves off with a good ‘ol splash of water in the face, or with a heartfelt plunge into an icy cold body of water–whether it be a swimming hole, river or lake.
In light of August’s hotness, this month’s Friday Photo Theme is ‘Take a Plunge’. So think water… in all its blue-green glory. Think lush landscapes with sulfur-reeking hot springs peeking out. Think lakes with surrounding towering rocks that inspire both elegant dives and loud, smacking belly flops. And with those considerations duly noted–submit shots! And get ready to win an awesome prize package.
Each week we’ll choose which shot best exemplifies ‘Take a Plunge’ and our weekly winners will win their very own GoPro camera and a pair of Chaco sandals–both perfect for summer sun days.
