Was treated to some great street entertainment as I strolled above lovely downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Ian Moore, “fiddler and such-like” was singing, dancing, and fiddling to great fanfair just outside of Asheville’s famed bookstore, Malaprops (across the street from a wonderful beer garden and restaurant intuitively dubbed The BierGarden).
After Ian’s set I threw down some dough and kindly asked if he’d run into Malaprops and fetch me Wendell Berry’s teriffic book, What Matters. He kindly obliged (that’s Ian Moore-speak) and I now have entertainment for the long slackline trip past the nation’s capitol and on to NYC. CYT! (See you there!)
