We announced it last week and we’ll announce it again–the KEEN Garage (its first retail store) is now open for business. If you haven’t had a chance to look through the Garage, you’re missing out. The space itself is modest in size but chock-full of the KEEN culture that surrounds the brand. A chalkboard behind the register announces local community events in an unassuming fashion. All shoes are displayed “rotisserie” style, attached to recycled bike chains and gears. Bags, from messengers to purses, hang casually from old industrial-looking steel hooks, and the upcoming season’s shoes are showcased atop beautiful slabs of wood, moss intact.
The store is located at 926 NW 13th avenue, so next time you find yourself in NW Portland, stop by to see the coolest Garage in town.
And don’t forget–tomorrow is the Grand Opening week finale street party. Just head to the Garage and be prepared for street art + The Elements Tour guys + lots of fun!
