Hiker’s Handgun Becomes a Pain in the Ass

In the latest laugh-then-cringe news, a hiker on Blewett Pass shot himself in the butt last week. The 52-year-old man was moving his .40 caliber handgun from the holster to his back pocket when a bullet was fired down his left buttock and leg, stopping just before his knee. According to the Associated Press, he was hoping hiking with the handgun would feel more comfortable if it was in his pocket. He was wrong.
