Rest ‘Round the World

There’s a point in every road trip, bicycle traverse and on-foot trek during which the inevitable happens—somebody is going to have to pee. Less graphic, maybe somebody needs to get out of the car to stretch their legs while examining the aisles of a mini-market for a good trip snack. Perhaps your buddy wants to stop pedaling or walking for a bit to rest his legs.

Whichever situation you find yourself in, rest is such an important aspect of human culture that no matter where you go in the world, you’ll either find some sort of public space designed for taking a break in or people designating a spot for themselves. So it’s time to sit back, relax, and prepare to take a visual journey of Rest, ‘Round the World.
