To capture the experience of body surfing in three and a half minutes does not seem like an easy task. And yet, the folks behind Woodshed Films have made it happen here, in the film Come Hell or High Water.
You don’t need to be an avid surfer of any kind to be captivated by this video. But if you’ve ever felt the flow of the ocean or the energy of a single wave, you might feel a stirring deep down when you watch this video–one that makes the hushed voice in your head whisper, quit your day job and go to the sea, now.
All whisperings aside, this is a beautifully crafted film that puts an unlikely sport in the spotlight: body surfing. And it does so with soul, humility and grace. Enough said. Enjoy.
