Every Thursday morning, I join a group of friends for an early 12-mile trail run in the Marin Headlands – the hills immediately North of the Golden Gate Bridge. A dark start at 5:30AM on the Northside of the bridge with headlamps and we get to see the sun rise while on the trails. Soon it will be light enough even at 5:30 – too bad.
