Climbing out of the Rio Alumine

Climbing out of the Rio Alumine
After two days following this gorgeous river from high in the mountains to the desert, we had a long hot grind to leave it behind for good.

Andy… When I learned your last name, I nearly fell out of my seat. Didn’t you and your dad ride in the Cycle Around Maryland event a few years? My friend, Bruce, worked with your dad and we talked with you about our cross-country bicycle trip. I believe you went on to be a wrench on the ride before moving out to Portland?
Your trip looks awesome. Keep having a good time!
