You don’t always have to wear bright spandex and the most expensive of cycling shoes if you’re a bike commuter, in fact there’s something to be said for those people who incorporate some style into their daily commute. If you need proof, just look at the other side of the Atlantic; Europeans have mastered cycling in stylish, everyday clothes. In fact, making bike commuting more casual and cool means that more people will start jumping on their cycles instead of in their cars; the easier it is to ride your bike to work, the more likely you are to do it.
That’s how Cyclelogical feels. Committed to producing durable, versatile and practical commuting gear that’s all the while stylish, Cyclelogical’s main mission is to “help the environment by keeping gasoline consumption down, sustaining a healthy mind and body, and keeping the world we live in safe for bicycle commuting everywhere.” We couldn’t have said it better. More on Cyclogical’s gear after the jump.
What does that mission translate to in terms of gear? Cool commuter backpacks with front stash pockets, computer compartments and even a place to stash a pair of shoes and your work clothes (in the event that you do want to bike in that spandex). Plus there’s a velcro strip on the front that you can either attach a reflective strip or custom-Cyclelogical-made solar panel to.
And then there’s the grocery/urban tote/pantier with a waterproof zipper and manages to look like a hip bag more than your average pantier. One of the models is even made from 100% recycled windsail material. That’s the kind of thing that would make any urbanite out to do their grocery shopping a very happy camper. That same 100% recycled windsail material (which means its waterproof) also makes its way into a messenger bag.

These bags rock! If you want something that makes sense inside and out get one of these swell bags and enjoy the smart design!
I’ve been using one of the backpacks for about a month now, and I am still amazed at times at the functionality of this backpack. Aside from my daily commute to work, I have made grocery runs that would have filled a bag and a half with just the backpack. The fully open design allows the bag to be completely opened up and the groceries stack in beautifully. I am completely satisfied with this bag and would recommend it heartily.
