Sustainability is certainly a buzzword, but what does it really look like? Green Living Project is looking to answer that question. Their mission is to ”educate and inspire citizens to live and support a more sustainable lifestyle through stories focused on successful and unique sustainable projects from around the world” and they do so by documenting sustainable projects through photography, film and writing.Â
They’ve documented sustainability efforts in East and Southern Africa and are soon heading to South America, tracking down all kinds of projects from wildlife conservation to women empowerment. We had the chance to catch up with Founder and President Rob Holmes during his brief stint in Portland for Green Living Project’s “Sustainability Across Africa” presentation series. Watch the interview to learn more about Green Living Project, what they’re about and what the projects they’ve documented can teach us about sustainability.
