You may have never heard of Klättermusen (which by the way means “climbing mouse” in Swedish), but because of their excellent eco-gear, I’m sure the name will soon be popping up all over the place.

The Swedish outdoor clothing and equipment company recently launched the rECOVER recycling program. Klättermus packs will now include a small tag which indicates how much money the customer will receive when sending in their used pack for recycling, up to 20€.

Several of Klättermusen’s packs are already made from recycled materials, including old fishing nets and worn carpeting, including the GnÃ¥ which recently received awarded the ECO Responsibility Award by the International Sports Expo (ISPO).

Alright, so the company recycles packs already made from recycled materials, but their enviro efforts don’t stop there. Klättermusen also donates 1% of its turnover to environmental non-profits. And the packs are skit snygg. (Figure out that one and you’ll get some serious Wend love)

Scandinavian and sustainable; what’s hotter?
