Remember that oil spill off the coast of Australia? Remember how it started spilling 71 days ago? Remember how it was the size of Connecticut and Rhode Island two months ago? Remember how it’s brand-new technology? Remember how they tried to stop the spill at least four times?
Well, now it’s on fire.

I find it astounding how one of Australia’s worst ecological disasters went so mysteriously under the radar for so long…. It was on the news the day the leak began, then went quiet for 10 weeks until it happened to catch fire! Then, mysteriously again, the leak happened to be stemmed days later….
