Check out this sweet contraption that lets you recycle something like a newspaper, magazine, or plastic bag and stay dry at the same time. All you have to do is unscrew the top, poke it into your plastic bag, open it out like an umbrella, and voilà, you’re staying dry and recycling at the same time. The website suggests that this is for short distances and it probably isn’t a good idea for downpour. I’m also wondering how water-resistant most magazines and newspapers are. But it’d be a great use of a plastic bag.
