The issue of global climate change is discussed in different venues all across the world. But it’s not something that’s just talked about, it’s something that many people actually deal with in their daily lives. Global climate change affects around 25 million people in the world, which is why Director Michael Nash has filmed his documentary, Climate Refugees – to showcase these people and their struggles.
Nash’s film crew traveled around the world to capture the stories of climate refugees affected by droughts, rising sea levels and erosion, in places such as Bangladesh, the Tuvalu islands, India, Texas, China, New Orleans, Sudan and Chad.
The documentary was shown at the Sundance Film Festival last month, and even more recently at the Boulder International Film Festival. Watch the trailer above.
