The Hummer is a veritable monument representing America’s consumption-based culture, which is why a New York artist named Jeremy Dean has decided to downgrade the monumental power of such a ridiculous, giant vehicle by turning it into an image of times gone by. Dean deconstructed an H2 Hummer into a horse cart, presenting it as a symbol of our need to get away from our reliance on a “hyperinflated consumer based society.” Check out video of the process here.
