The “Dandelion,” a portable, wearable windmill is definitely not unisex in appearance. But despite its somewhat frilly look, it definitely has the power to propel the concept of personal energy-generating devices in new directions.

Designed by Mary Huang and Jennifer Kay, the “Dandelion” captures wind power with several tiny windmills, which then transfer the energy into LED light or “plugable power” for any small device. From Huang’s website:

It is a structure of miniature windmills that embraces the wearer. It is fashion that creates an interface between nature, technology, and people.
