Sweden Strikes Against Water Crisis With Striking Ad

The global issue of clean water is something facing nearly everyone across the globe. Whether it be activists, adventurers or stay-at-home mothers, we all need clean water to fuel our daily lives. That being said, the Swedish Church decided it was time to act in the face of a clean water crisis. So, they created an ad  that portrays a mother and her child — and the potential future of drinking water — if we don’t clean up our acts.

In response to the above ad, the Swedish Church has received over 5,000 text-based contributions of 50 crowns (about $6.50) toward its clean water program, which enables projects such as the construction of outdoor toilets, the distribution of water disinfection powders, and the installation of water towers.
