A unique 30-day cross-country tour began August 13th in San Francisco–the Bag Monster Tour. Started by artist, activist, and entreprenuer Andy Keller, the tour will serve to educate communities about the environmental harms of single-use plastic bags. Specifically, the tour will visit cities considering a ban on plastic bags–such as Seattle, Portland, and Denver, among others. During the tour, Andy and his “monsters” will be wearing 500 plastic bags, the average amount of single-use plastic bags an American uses in a year. Check out where the tour is heading next here.
