It’s about 7:30 pm… we are packing for another road trip. I love road trips. We definitely have our system down to an art. Everybody knows what his or her role is. I’m in charge of packing the car and getting the food ready. Jason’s in charge of getting all of the gear ready and making sure that the bikes are in working order and when Sam’s with us- he’s in charge of making sure there’s enough coffee and that the electronics are charged and ready to go. Once we are on the road the only stops we make are to fill up gas. While the gas is pumping, that person has to do push-ups until the tank is full. Sometimes we stop for a headstand or mini acro session, but for the most part we don’t stop until we make it to our destination! Every road trip has its own little story and lesson to add to our growing list entitled “Lessons from the Road”. Our latest lesson has been: never enter LA at 6 in the morning if you don’t have to!
Jason and I just got back from Tucson yesterday after an amazing weekend of climbing and teaching an advanced acroyoga workshop. I am still high after working with so many amazing people! Tonight we are on our way to Red Rocks, Nevada for the Red Rocks Rendezvous. We are teaching three slackline yoga workshops a day for two days. All of the money raised goes towards the Access Fund which helps keep amazing climbing areas open. We are stoked to be able to be giving back to all of the places we love!!
